Better economic and social opportunities for youth

PAAJAF will set up a training centre for the youth of Ghana to help them find internships/apprenticeships with local businesses in the country. Many young people in Ghana do not believe there is a future here for them, and mental health issues are on the rise. Many are in poor living conditions with unhealthy lifestyles. PAAJAF strongly believes that youth deserve an opportunity. What’s more, we believe youth can help reduce and prevent poverty and unemployment in Ghana

We offer young people targeted support, health education, and opportunities for apprenticeships or vocational training in skills such as dressmaking, catering, interior decoration, hair dressing, tiling, painting, carpentry and more.

After completing apprenticeships in vocational training successfully, youth members will be able to enrol for the GEN Project implemented by PAAJAF.

Collaboration with Gbawe Entrepreneurs Network (GEN) Project

GEN helps unemployed youth and women through capital creation for entrepreneurship. Children and young adults in Gbawe are often forced to drop out from schools and academic programs due to their family’s weak financial situations. In many cases, they have to leave school because single mothers are not able to afford it.

GEN helps solve these problems by providing training and capital to help women and young people start their own business.

This provides income to women, youth and their families, helps more children and young people stay at school, and but helps the local economy.
