IT Education Program For Children in Ghana


Developing Information Technology skills at the middle of the fourth industrial revolution is fundamental. This project is aimed to provide basic IT trainings for the students about programming, design and MS Office use.



In the last five years, increased smartphone adoption, lower internet costs, and the immense size of the African market has drawn several high-profile investors and tech giants into Africa. The number of tech hubs grew by 24 % in Ghana. While IT services businesses usually don’t require huge investments therefore this path could be a good option for the underprivileged children However, IT education requires IT tools and internet subscription that the school doesn’t have currently.



PAAJAF Foundation established the IT Education Program that contains the plan for purchasing IT tools, internet subscription and providing trainings for each age groups.


Long-term Impact

Growing up the children will have highly valuable IT skills and they will be qualified for numerous jobs. It could change their attitudes toward life and work and increase self-esteem, and inclusiveness.
